Mounts

Horses can be purchased from Equestrian Shopkeeper NPCs, who are found at stables near town entrances. Horses are customizable, come in a variety of colors, and are available in both male and female forms. Similar to player characters, horses can progress in levels, gain skills, and equip themselves with stat-enhancing gear.

Stablekeeper NPCs allow you to check a horse's level and statistics, as well as equip horses with armor and accessories. Items for your horse can be acquired through Nation-Ranking Manager NPCs or purchased with Pandora Points in the Item Shop. Up to five horses can be kept at a time, and if you wish to make room for a different horse, they can be "Retired." But be careful when using this command, as your former steed will become unavailable once it has been put out to pasture

By increasing the Ability Points in the horsemanship ability of your character, special skills can be earned to enhance mounted combat.

Spirit System

The Spirit System is one of the various ways to enhance weapons and gear.

Spirit items (e.g. Souls of Fauna, Souls of the Spring, Souls of Rage) can be used to enhance items in your inventory by adding different stats. To do this, first make sure the item to be enhanced is not currently equipped. Next, open up your inventory and select the icon for the spirit item to be used, and drag it to the icon of the item you wish to enhance. A confirmation window will be displayed asking if you wish to imbue the selected piece of equipment with the spirit item.

Spirit items are specific to inventory slots. The item description will tell you which types of equipment is compatible (e.g. belt, torso, weapon).

When a piece of equipment is enhanced with a spirit item, an attribute of the item will be raised. If the imbuing process is successful, the item description will state what attribute has been raised and by how much. When you left-click on the equipment item, a new window will pop up with a full item description, an icon, and a small circle beneath the depicted item. This small circle will be filled with color when the item is enhanced with a spirit item.

Once a piece of gear is imbued with a spirit item, the only way to remove it is by soliciting the services of a Shaman NPC. These NPCs can be found in most town areas. The service to remove spirit enhancements from items comes at a cost and its success is not guaranteed. Through this process, it is possible that the piece of equipment may be destroyed. The likelihood of successfully removing a spirit item from a piece of equipment depends on the type of enhancement granted by the spirit item. Items called 'Soul Protection Seals' can be used by the Shaman NPC to increase the rate of success. These can be purchased in the Item Shop with Pandora Points

Personal Shop/Booths

Items can be sold to other players in the game by opening a booth.

To do this, go to the Menu button in the bottom left corner of the screen, and select "Open a Booth.

" A new window will pop up and allow you to set up your booth.
In this window, you can add a name to the booth, stock your booth with items from your inventory, and price the items. When finished, select "Open Booth;" this will allow other players to see and shop at your booth.

Upgrading

Another way to refine and enhance your equipment is by utilizing the services of the Blacksmith NPCs, who are found in every major town. To enhance items using a Blacksmith, players must possess magical items called "Rune Gems." These gems can be purchased from the Blacksmith or can be obtained by defeating various enemies.

These gems can be found in various sizes, colors, and magical properties. Each gem has a different success rate and different attributes for enchanting an item – but this process is not fail-proof! Upgrading an item with a high upgrade value may result in failure, destroying the item and rendering it useless. You can increase your chance of success by purchasing specific items within the Item Shop with Pandora Points.

Once a specific aura is successfully attached to the item, only rune gems of the same aura can be used thereafter. Choose carefully!

Another way to enhance items is through Blacksmith NPCs. These NPCs are found in pairs in town areas; one sells rune gems, the other performs the item enhancement.

Rune gem items are needed to enhance items. Each rune gem is specific to an aura, such as fire, ice, light or darkness. Rune gems can be purchased in the game from Blacksmith NPCs and can also be acquired through item drops after defeating monsters. Rune gems come in multiple sizes; these sizes indicate how much of an effect they provide when used to enhance an item. "Magic" rune gems can only be used with wands.

To use a rune gem on equipment, the services of a Blacksmith are needed. These services come at a cost and are not guaranteed to work every time; it is possible for equipment to break in the process. Also, once an aura is granted to an item, only rune gems of the same aura can be used on it thereafter. The probability of a successful enhancement depends on the size of the rune gem and the amount of aura the chosen item already has; this probability can be increased by using the "Artisan's Hammer," which can be purchased in the Cash Shop.
