Leveling Up

In Pandora Saga your character will earn experience points (EXP) as you engage in combat and complete quests. Through gaining experience, your character gains levels. Each time a character "levels up," it will gain "Ability Points" and "Stat Points." These points can be distributed to various attributes of your character. To assign these points you must open the "Character Menu."

Stat Points

Stat Points can be assigned to the following attributes:

Vitality (VIT)

This stat increases your maximum hit points (HP), your hit point regeneration rate, and your resistance to certain types of elements and properties.

Strength (STR)

Increases your overall physical attack damage.

Agility (AGI)

Increases your physical attack speed and your chance of evading enemy attacks.

Dexterity (DEX)

Increases accuracy with melee and ranged weapons, casting speed (for magic users), and your chance to land a critical hit.

Spirit (SPI)

Increases your maximum Mana Points (MP), the rate you regenerate mana points, and resistances to various ailments and disorders.

Intellect (INT)

Increases your Magical Damage, reduces skill cooldown duration, and reduces your mana consumption.

Ability Points & System

To view your abilities and to distribute points, open up the "Character Menu" and click on the "Ability" tab.

You may increase your character's abilities in one of two ways:

1. Gaining "Ability Points" by advancing in levels
2. Continued use and practice of your abilities

For example, when you engage in combat and utilize your abilities (either active or passive) you have a chance to increase and improve your abilities.

Ability Points can be found under the "Ability" tab. Ability Points can be distributed to each of the Abilities. Each Ability has three bars, each a different color; the green bar indicates what your character has earned, the red indicates how many Ability Points have been distributed, and the blue bar indicates the maximum amount allowed (this will vary from class to class). A yellow bar will appear as you add points so you can preview the amount being distributed. When you click "Confirm," the yellow bar will become red; and once "Confirm" has been clicked, Ability Points cannot be taken back from the given ability. When an ability reaches a red marker, certain skills can be learned. The longer the green portion of bar is, the stronger the skills associated with that ability will be.
