We're excited to share details about the new warzone, "The Siege of Sieghelm," which players will get to experience during our special preview on April 29th and May 6th at 7:00PM (PDT). Sieghelm is an expansive new map that takes the rivalry amongst the three nations to a whole new level! Here's what you need to know to sign up:
Players must be at Level 45 or higher and belong to a nation to participate. There will be 200 players from each nation (150 Regular, 50 Militia) in this event.
Players may apply to be Supreme Commander for their nation during the 30 minutes immediately following Thursday's Clash of the Nations battle. In order to register as a Supreme Commander, players will need to be at a rank of Baron or higher, and pay the registration fee of 30,000 Grosch to the Sieghelm Battle Attache NPC. Each nation will have one nominee appointed as Supreme Commander. Players who do not win the position will have their 30,000 Grosch refunded. The Supreme Commander will be able to select the location of the Keep via the Battle Attache NPC.

After the Supreme Commander is appointed, players may register for the Vice Commander positions. Players must pay 20,000 Grosch to the Sieghelm Battle Attache NPC to register. Three players may be appointed for this position for each nation. Players who do not win the position will have their 20,000 Grosch refunded.
Regulars may sign up at any time prior to the 30 minutes preceding the Siege of Sieghelm battle itself. To register, players must pay 10,000 Grosch to the Sieghelm Battle Attache NPC.
A big part of the fun in any game is discovering things for yourself; we don't want to give away too many details, but here's some useful information to know for the first Sieghelm warzone:
How does my nation win?
Every 10 minutes, there will be a Battle Standings update. Power Points for each nation will be calculated at this time. The nation with the most Power Points at the time of the final Battle Standings update will be declared the winner.
Is there an easier way to win?
Sure! The first nation to do any of the following will take siege of Sieghelm and end the warzone:
Reduce the enemy nations' Power Points to zero by the time by the next Battle Standings update.
Destroy the Master Cores of the two enemy nations.
Take control of all Forts.
What is a Keep?

Each nation has a starting location known as a Keep; this is where your Master Core is located. Your nation will instantly lose if this Master Core is destroyed. Players can only attack Master Cores of enemy nations. These Cores are not affected by status effects, buffs, and debuffs, and cannot be repaired.
What is a Fort?
There are 16 Forts on the warzone map, and at the start of the warzone, all Forts will be unoccupied. Each Fort contains Cores, and players may occupy the Fort for their nation by destroying their enemies'Cores. Once a nation has taken over a Fort, enemy nations will have to scramble to keep up. But keep in mind that various obstacles will prevent enemy nations from accessing a Fort.
What is the strange translucent barrier blocking the fort gateway?

This is called a Safewall; it's there to protect the Forts from being invaded. The Safewall will disappear once all the Guard Towers have been destroyed, and can be restored when the Guard Towers have been repaired or rebuilt. Players inside their own nation's Fort may freely travel in and out of the Fort.
What are Guard Towers?
They keep the Safewall up. Once a nation occupies a fort, two Guard Towers will be built.
How do I repair Cores?
When players who belong to the same nation are present within their own Fort (excluding dead players, of course), all Cores within the Fort will auto-repair over time. The repair rate will increase as the number of players within the Fort increases. Once the Core has been destroyed, however, the auto-repair function will be disabled.
What are Siege Items?
Siege Items are used to help your nation in various activities, such as building and repairing. When the warzone starts, all players on the map – including Regulars and Militias – will receive a random Siege Item in their inventory. If there are no empty spaces in a player's inventory, then the player will not receive the Siege Item. (In other words, make sure you have at least one open inventory slot before you enter the Siege of Sieghelm!) Players will have Siege Items removed from their inventory if they leave the warzone, die from a status effect, or die in any way that is not a result of another player's direct attack.
Siege Items can be taken when one player defeats another in battle. Whoever deals the killing blow will receive their opponent's Siege Item. Again, if there are no empty slots in a player's inventory when the opponent is defeated, then the Siege Item will be forfeited.
That's it? We need more information!
Oh there's more, but we want to see how you do with the information we've provided so far. But we think you'll be able to figure out the best strategies and tactics based on what we've told you so far. If necessary, we'll add more info to this post before the April 29th and May 6th preview.
Good luck!
*Attention players: for the purposes of this Beta Test, Keeps will be referred to as "Bases," and Forts will be referred to as "Strongholds" within some parts of the game. In a future update, these structures will assume their correct names.

We know our players love Clash of the Nations, but we promised you a 200-vs-200-vs-200 war, so that's just what you will get! The staff over at Atlus Online has been working diligently to bring this great warzone to Pandora Saga. We're excited to announce the addition of Siege of Sieghelm in May, just in time for the hot summer fun.
While this blog is meant to give readers a sneak peek into what we do, we're not complete teases. We will be holding previews of Siege of Siegheim on April 29th and May 6th. Players must be Level 45 or higher and belong to one of the three nations in order to participate.
If you think Siege of Sieghelm is just a bigger version of our existing warzone, you're in for a surprise! While the basic rule is the same as Clash of the Nations, there are new conditions for winning (and not the Charlie Sheen kind)and losing, siege items (and the joy in stealing them from players you defeat!), and much more! Keep checking our website and forums for details about the Siege of Siegheim preview and how to sign up!

This is our last blog post ever, and we have nothing else to tell you… April Fool's! We're just getting started and have lots of exciting news to share. You might be expecting us to shout "April Fool's" again, but we're serious!
Astian archaeologists have dug up a whole new map for you to explore. The Astir Underground Monument was built and dedicated to the beloved legendary king. Centuries of conflict long buried this forgotten area, until now. With these ruins now open, Pandora Saga has found many inhabitants picking up side jobs as tomb raiders, hunting for treasure. What makes this area so treacherous is not only the decaying guardians patrolling the passageways, but also other parties of explorers. If you think you're safe just because you run into another group of your same nation, think again. There is no honor among thieves, and nation loyalty means nothing in the depths of the ruins. The Astir Underground Monument opens to the public on Tuesday, April 5th. Enter at your own risk.
Be sure to check your email for our newsletter or to visit the forums for more details about how to enter the Astir Underground Monument and in-game events there!
Hi everyone, it's time for another installment of the Pandora Saga Developer Blog!

This week we've got some exciting events this week! What? You already know all about the third-tier job classes, mounted combat, and ranking system? Well, there's more!
With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, our little Lapin friends have decided to be leprechauns for a couple of days. They are bringing the Astian Verdant Outfit and Astian Verdant Ensemble to keep you from getting pinched by other players. What's St. Patrick's Day though without a little bit of luck? So the Lapins are throwing in one more surprise. All players who purchase either an Astian Verdant Outfit or Ensemble are automatically entered into a raffle. One lucky winner from each set will have that gear upgraded to +5! Click for Details!
Are you still feeling the chill from the Ice Weapons? Well, prepare to warm up to the new set of Fire Weapons on 03/22! This blazing set of armaments will have you feeling the heat, dealing a whole new world of burning rage to your foes. Until then, the Ice Weapons will be discounted at 30% off—get them before they melt away!
We are running our first ever video contest! The theme of the contest will be to create a recruitment video for the nation of Varik, Latuga, or St. Pfelstein! Your goal will be to convince others that YOUR nation is the best! You will be rewarded for your efforts with prizes, including a Fire Weapon of your choosing and more! For details click here!
You still want more news? We know some of you players expect a developer's blog to leak upcoming information and things we're working on. Our blog will do just that! If you think that we're gonna take a break from adding new content just because we've jammed so much in this week, wait until you see what we have in store for April! Our team has been really ablaze, working diligently on a new map filled with mysteries for you to explore. Keep checking back on this blog for more information!
Remember take a look at the events calendar for a full list of upcoming events!
See you next time!

Hi everyone, it's time for another installment of the Pandora Saga Developer Blog!
I am super excited to announce that the long-awaited third-Tier job classes are coming to Pandora Saga! On 03/15 the level cap will be raised to Level 50 and you will have the chance to further develop your skills as you advance your character into the next tier of jobs. Exciting classes like the Corruptor (if you're a Sorcerer) or Paladin (if you're a Knight) await, each with their own specific style of play. Check out the [Classes Page] for a more detailed description of each class. You will need to be Level 45 before you can change to the third Tier jobs, so to help you along we are having a special Increased EXP event running from 03/08/2011 to 03/15/2011!
Currently you can reach the rank of Knight in Pandora Saga – in this upcoming update you will now be able to reach the coveted rank of Archduke! Each rank gives you special abilities and privileges including access to special items, and expanded inventory! Hit the ranking page for the full run-down!
Also arriving with the same update will be the War Horses. You will be able to take your trusty steed into war, taking battles to a whole new level! Your horse will be able to level-up, and increase its parameters! If you are level 40 you will be able to undertake the necessary quest to begin making war horses.
*An extra just a side note – there is a certain holiday around the corner where you'll be feeling a little extra lucky – just sayin'!
See you next time!

Been a while since the last blog update ? - getting all those fixes in place is hard work!
At long last Pandora Saga is ready to launch and we have an avalanche of surprises in store! In addition to the game's level cap being raised to 44, today also marks the grand opening of the Pandora Saga Item Shop ? where you will be able to purchase potions, boosts, and the brand new Ice Weapons!
Surely you guys have been exploring the Uncivilized District of Muldia and collecting those medals? Well now these medals will serve another purpose ? - you will be able to trade them in for a chance at winning some awesome prizes, including Ultimate Game Cards, a 23" LCD monitor, and much, much more! And to cap it all off, there will be the 7 Days of War! Battles will rage all-week, as the players can engage in Clash of the Nations to fight for domination! Thank you to all who participated in and gave us feedback during open beta ? - you guys are the best!

Have you guys been exploring Muldia and hunting down those troublesome Boss Monsters? Have you gotten a taste of PvP? Well regardless of your answer, War is on the horizon! That's right ? this weekend there will be two test warzones @ 3:00 PM PST & 8:00 PM PST! You will finally be able to experience the rush and excitement of a 300 player warzone! Your skills will be put to the test as a max of 100 players from each nation will be able to participate, making for one hectic battle!
What does the Warzone consist of you may ask? The Warzone is a competition to gain the most points within the given time period. Players can gain points in one of two ways: 1) Take over the guard towers of the other nations and 2) Take down individual players. With a potential of 300 players at once on the battlefield, one can only imagine how frantic the battlefield will become. Winning will net your nation bonuses for the week, and gaining control of the castles also gets your nation special treasure boxes! GMs will also be participating during these Warzones, so keep a keen eye out for them!
This will be Pandora Saga's inaugural test Warzone so it'll definitely be an event not to be missed!

Get ready for war!

It's been a couple of weeks since our last blog entry. The reason is because we have all been working around the clock on some new content for you. There has been quite a buzz about a mysterious area called Muldia. The Atlus Online team has been working closely with Rosso Index to tweak this area and make it available to all of you. We have one final round of testing to do, and if there are no issues, the Muldian Uncivilized District will be available as early as next week.
So what is the Muldian Uncivilized District? It's a higher-level area (we recommend players be level 30+ and that you go in a party of 3+) where players can fight bosses and monsters that they don't usually see near their affiliated nation. Is that it? Heck, no! Only at the Muldian Uncivilized District can you find Muldian Medals. These can be traded in for unique items at your nation's capital. Still not enough? What else can we throw in? Let's add a challenge. You can PvP in this area, too, and it can happen at any time. So if you're battling a big boss, you need to watch your back because a rival nation might sneak up behind you and attack!
We've also been peering into the forums and have noticed we've got some creative folks in the community. We've decided to create a fan art gallery on the website. If you want to show off your artwork, check out this forum link for details on how to submit. Every month, we'll choose some of the submitted works to feature.
Check back soon for more updates!
Atlus Online is excited to launch the open beta phase of Pandora Saga on January 7th! We loved seeing so many of you join us for Closed Beta, and we appreciated all your help in finding and reporting issues. Our hardworking exterminators have eradicated a lot of the bugs, but there are some that have been hiding and need a full community of players in the game to scare them out. We hope you'll help us do just that once open beta starts.
We're still tweaking the game to try to make sure that you will all have fun in Pandora Saga, so more information is on the way. We have been reading your comments in the forums, and here are a few answers to address your concerns:
Some of our players had problems with the closed beta client so we've identified the possible causes and have a new client for open beta. We will put the new download link up before open beta starts.
Well, closed beta ended on Dec 19th, so it hasn't been working because we shut Pandora Saga down so we can improve the game. It also won't work when open beta starts because you'll need to download the new client to get in the game.
A lot of our closed beta players liked the nation expeditions with the GMs, so we'll be planning those again and other events, too!
You should start with whatever you want! Each race/class has advantages/disadvantages, so pick the one you like. If you still can't make up your mind, check out the Game Guide here on the website or the forums. We have a great community (really, the best!) of experienced and new players who will be happy to share what race and class to pick.
The item shop will not be open at open beta, but if you participate in our various events and contests, you might be the lucky winner of some in-game items.
No, we're not deleting the characters you?fve made in OBT, so level to your heart's content!
Don't see answers to your questions here? Check back here and in the forums often. (Yes, we want your love and attention!) We'll be leaking more info soon!

This past weekend was our long-awaited Pandora Saga's Closed Beta Test! Here's a brief recap:
Closed Beta started with a few hiccups, but we recovered quickly and were excited to finally see players logging in after much anticipation! The first 300 players who logged-in everyday (and everyone on the first day) will receive a special prize for OBT. An unexpected bonus to everyone was that all races were playable ? it was definitely a trip seeing the size difference between the miniscule Lapin and the gargantuan Myrine.
Our GMs were also hard at work all four days! Whether they were organizing PvP tourneys or just hanging out in Central Astir, the GMs were everywhere interacting with players. We had some great events from giving out PvP Training to Nation Expeditions, and we hope everyone had a great time. Also noteable was our Race to 30 event! Players demonstrated such tenacity in their leveling and the first 15 who reached the 30 by Saturday night will receive a special Windy Cloak at OBT. It was definitely an eventful CBT, jam-packed with non-stop action.
For those who may have missed out on CBT, click here to take a look at some of the awesome screenshots we took! We had a great time with all the players who came to check us out. From all of us at Atlus Online, we'd like to thank you for your support. Keep checking back here or the forums for updates about OBT and contests were running!
We're excited to see what comes next and hope you are too!
It's a day of a lot of firsts for us here at Atlus Online. It's the first day of Closed Beta Testing for Pandora Saga, the first day of our official Pandora Saga website, and the first day of our first blog post! We have a lot going on, and we want to make sure we tell you everything.
Pandora Saga closed beta starts today at 10AM, PST. We know some of you have played Pandora Saga before and will just jump right into battle, but we have some events scheduled that we hope new and veteran players alike will check out. Starting right when the gates open, our GMs will be in the game to welcome you all. The action won't stop until Sunday, December 19th, with the much anticipated NATION WAR! Click here for the full schedule of events.
For players who want to take the time to explore on their own and have some questions along the way, we have some newly created system guides. Each of us at Atlus Online got a pony as part of the extenuating research we needed to do to make sure we explained the mount system properly. We also lost a few staff members as we tested the PvP system. Don't let their sacrifices be in vain and go check out their write-up. If we left out any systems you want more information about, let us know in the forums what you'd like to see, and we'll do our best to get it up for you.
Speaking of the forums, it's a great place to go to meet other Atlus Online players. We also have a couple of Pandora Saga contests going on! Today is the last day to get in on our screenshot captioning contest. We have some really clever and funny members in the Atlus Online Collective, so check out what they did or caption your own! We also have a new screenshot contest that starts today, so log-in and start hitting that PrtScn button!
On behalf of everyone at Atlus Online, we hope you'll enjoy this preview of Pandora Saga. We'll be updating this blog weekly, so check back often for details (and whatever confidential information is lying around in the Atlus Online office) to be posted here!
Your saga begins today!
