Let's Start the Main Quest

CHECK POINT
  • When you advance through the main quest, you will receive a considerable amount of EXP, in-game gold, and useful items compared to the ones that you may obtain from monsters. Try to advance through as many quests as you can since the majority of them are simple.
  • When you approach Level 20 are able to change into a second-tier class, quests become increasingly difficult to finish on your own. If you feel that these quests are a bit too challenging to complete, chat with other players around you to form a party.

When the game begins, a soldier in town will speak with you. The main quest starts when you make choose to listen to him during the conversation.
You can check Quest objectives and progress from the Quest window. Once you finish a quest, you'll proceed to the next quest.

Once You Level Up…

CHECK POINT
  • Skill Points can be reset twice: once during your first class change at Level 20, and again during the second-tier class change at Level 45. We highly recommend allocating Skill Points as soon as you level up as mentioned in the next section, "Raising your character by class types." IMPORTANT: These Skill resets are only available until you reach the next level after a class change. If you want to reset your stats, please remember to do so!
  • Once you confirm the allocation of Status Points, it cannot be undone. It may be helpful to visualize how you want your character to be before allocating these points.
Your character will be awarded Status and Skill Points, in addition to increased LP and MP, when they level up.
Once Status Points have been allocated to character's Attributes, their abilities will be increased along with the parameter's stats. Also, by allocating Skill Points to an Ability, characters may learn new skills or upgrade current ones.

Raising Your Character by Class Type

Warrior

If you want to raise your character to swing his or her weapon in the front line as a Gladiator, increase your STR (Strength). Likewise, increase your DEX (Dexterity) to have better Accuracy for these attacks. We suggest keeping your DEX around the same value as your character's current level. And finally, raise one of the following abilities depending on the weapon you use: Slash, Thrust, or Cleave.
*We do not recommend raising the Bash ability for this class until you become more familiar with the game.
If your goal is to protect your allies as a Knight, increase your STA (Stamina). Although this class doesn't excel in offense, raising your DEX would be helpful to increase Accuracy. As always, we suggest keeping your DEX around the same value as your character's current level. We recommend increasing the Defend ability for this class.

Scout

If you're looking into using long-ranged attacks with bows and arrows, go for the Archer class and increase your AGI (Agility) to raise your Attack Speed. In addition, additional AGI also increases your Dodge stat, raising your survival rate when approached by an enemy. Likewise, increase your DEX in order to raise your Accuracy. As always, we suggest keeping your DEX around the same value as your character's current level. We recommend increasing the Ranged ability for this class.

If your goal is to approach an enemy without them knowing, Provocateur is the class for you. Raising this class will be dependent on which path you choose for your third-tier class. If you want to sneak up from behind the enemy and cause massive damage, the Assassin class is highly recommended. Focus on AGI to raise Attack Speed while allocating Status Points to STR in order to raise ATK (Attack Power). Likewise, increase your DEX in order to raise your Accuracy. As always, we suggest keeping your DEX around the same value as your character's current level. We recommend increasing the Dispatch ability for this class.

If you're looking into disrupting your opponents using various traps, Saboteur is the class for you. Increasing your DEX should be your top priority since it increases the speed and power of your traps. Once you reach an ample amount of DEX, it's a good idea to allocate points into INT (Intelligence) to raise the power of your traps another way. We recommend increasing the Trapping ability for this class.

Acolyte

If you're seeking to play a Priest class that excels in Healing and Support magic, increase your INT and SPI (Spirit). Additional INT increases the effect of healing magic, whereas additional SPI increases the effect of support spells. Increase STA (Stamina) in order to raise your rate of survival; we suggest keeping your STA around the same value as your character's current level. We recommend increasing your Grace and Blessing abilities for this class. Additionally, you can raise the Exorcism ability to 8 in order to use an offensive Light-based magic spell, which is effective when going against Undead- and Demon-type opponents.

If you're looking for a versatile class that offers support—as well as be useful in the front line—Ascetic is the class for you. Raising this class will be dependent on which path you choose for your third-tier class. If you go with the Monk class, who focuses on the Bash ability in close combat, prioritize AGI in order to increase Attack Speed as well as Dodge rate. Coupled with the use of magic spells that increase Dodge rate, it's beneficial during battle when fighting against your opponents. Likewise, increase your DEX in order to raise your Accuracy. As always, we suggest keeping your DEX around the same value as your character's current level. We recommend simultaneously increasing the Bash and Exorcism abilities for this class. Additionally, once the Exorcism ability reaches 26, you can use the Bless Weapon skill, which helps your attacks immensely.

If you're looking to play a versatile class that can nullify an opponent's magic spells while supporting your allies, the Exorcist class is for you. In order to survive until through a battle, it is crucial to raise both STA and AGI to increase the character's LP and Dodge rate. In addition, it is important to raise DEX to some level to ensure the Accuracy rate and Casting Speed. Due to its nature, this class will have difficulty defeating an opponent alone because of its low-powered attacks and spells. For this reason, this class is not recommended for players that are new to Pandora Saga.

Mage

If you're seeking a class that excels at offensive magic, Wizard is the class for you. Increase INT to raise MATK (Magical Attack Power), DEX to raise Casting Speed, and SPI to raise MP. Since the Wizard class offers the least amount of LP compared to any other class, you may want to increase STA to raise your survival rate. Regardless of which path you take for your third-tier class, it's important to focus allocating points into INT. If you choose to learn powerful magic spells, we recommend increasing the Elemental ability. If you choose to learn summoning magic spells, increase Invocation.

If you want to use disrupting magic, Sorcerer is the class for you. Raising this class will be dependent on which path you choose for your third-tier class. If you're looking to specialize in disruption, advancing to the Corrupter class is your best bet. Raise SPI to increase the effect of disrupting magic spells, and consider increasing STA to raise your survival rate. We also recommend increasing the Confusion ability for this class. Due to their nature, Corrupters will have difficulty defeating an opponent alone because of low-powered attacks and spells. For this reason, this class is not recommended for players that are new to Pandora Saga.

If you're looking for a class that excels in dark magic and has the ability to fight in the front line, Shadowblade is the class for you. Focus on INT to increase the power and effect of dark magic spells, focus on raising INT. If you're primarily going to stand in the front line of the battlefield, raise your AGI. Additionally, consider using points in SPI to increase the effect of disrupting magic. We recommend increasing the Darkness ability for this class.
